Kerasia-Maria Plachouri graduated as a valedictorian from the Medical Faculty in Patras, completed her residency in the Department of Dermatology in the University Clinic of Muenster, Germany, where she specialized in dermatologic autoimmune disorders, psoriasis and melanoma. She completed her doctoral thesis in the research of uveal melanomas. She is currently working as a specialist in the Dermatology Department in the University General Hospital of Patras and teaching in the Medical School of Patras University.
Dimitra Koumoundourou, MD, MSc, Ph.D., is a Consultant Pathologist at the Department of Pathology and Cytology at the University General Hospital of Patras. She trained in Pathology in the University Hospital of Patras and completed her residency in 2006. She obtained her masters degree in the field of Molecular Anatomy (2004) and Doctoral Thesis (2007) in TGF-beta signaling in breast cancer. Since 2010 she is an academic scholar at the University of Patras and teaches Pathology in Medical school of Patras.
Eleftheria Panteli, MD, DESA, MSc, Ph.D., is a Consultant Anaesthesiologist at the Department of Anaesthesiology and Intensive Care Unit at the University General Hospital of Patras. She graduated from the School of Medicine, University of Patras (1999), MSc in Pharmacology (2003) and Doctoral Thesis (2012). Dr. Panteli trained as Resident in Anaesthesiology at the Department of Anaesthesiology and Intensive Care Unit, University General Hospital of Patras. Katerina Grafanaki MD, MSc, Ph.D. is a member of the Research and Teaching Staff of the School of Medicine, University of Patras. She holds a BSc (Hons) in Biomedical Sciences and an MSc in Immunology and Allergy. She obtained her Ph.D. from the School of Medicine at the University of Patras. Dr. Grafanaki has published 7 papers in international peer-reviewed journals. Her areas of expertise include skin immunology, wound healing and skin cancer with a focus in melanoma. Chrysa Oikonomou is a Ph.D. candidate, specialty Registrar in Dermatology, University of Patras. She graduated from the School of Medicine, University of Patras (2007) Trained as Resident at Internal Medicine (2008-2010) Dr. Oikonomous was a research associate and sub-investigator in clinical trials at the Department of Oncology, University Hospital of Patras (2012-2016) Her research interests include Dermato-Oncology and Psoriasis.
